Born and raised in LA, but a proud inhabitant of NY for the past 10 years! Sydney holds a BS in Theater and a BA in International Affairs with a focus in counter-terrorism from Skidmore College (her advisors always joked she should join the CIA). She continued her performance studies at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and MN Acting Studio and the Barrow Group in Manhattan.

She is a working actor and teaching artist, working closely with Bloom Performing Arts as one of their teachers and their Director of New Works. Upon moving to NYC, she and her best friend founded a theater company (3DaysPrior) and successfully produced three sold out productions their inaugural year. She spent the summer performing in an immersive production of Pride and Prejudice as Lydia, and is featured in a recent top-10 film on Netflix (The Secret: Dare to Dream) opposite Josh Lucas and Katie Holmes.

To make a living, Sydney is a celebrated Manhattan Maitre D at the well renown Keith McNally establishment, Balthazar, in SoHo. She talks to over 1,500 guests a day and refers to it as the performance of a lifetime!
